Fundraising for FACCH is one of the most powerful things you can do to support development in the local villages that we work alongside. We are passionate about providing our community members with the education and resources they indicate to us that will enable them to grow, remain healthy, and succeed. We are able to do that because of financial donations that help us to fulfill our mission. Fundraising and donorship volunteering for FACCH is for people who are enthusiastic about broader education, personal health, and self-sufficiency. The funds you raise will directly support local villagers in this way.

Hands-on gardening Helping with our school gardens provides fresh, organic food for our children, volunteers and visitors. The fish, frog, and snail ponds offer protein which many times is the only daily source available for the students. Duck eggs collected daily are a welcome addition to diets. As a garden helper you may find yourself preparing the soil, weeding, planting seeds, watering or even preparing and depositing compost. Your help with the maintenance and supervision of our ponds and duck habitats will be welcomed as well.

Teaching English and computer studies are the most sought-after volunteer skills for locals. Our village school runs a daily English class for two hours each afternoon. Long term volunteers can make a meaningful contribution to the program by helping our teacher plan, monitor, or implement classes daily.

Construction and renovation projects welcome experienced workers as well as enthusiastic beginners. Tasks mainly focus on supporting local Khmer workers to maintain, improve, and expand existing building infrastructure at the school, accommodation site or villages. When requested by community members, and funding is made available, we install water wells and toilets at village homes. Volunteers who help with this type of project can gain hands-on experience while contributing to local community development.

Content creation is one of the best ways we can inspire followers to donate, volunteer, or participate in our initiatives. Using various online platforms, we welcome your help to engage with our current and potential supporters through storytelling and visual media, so they see how their dollars create positive change within our communities. Use your creative freedom to post content, appropriate to our mission, on the platforms of your choice.
